The 43rd Annual NAACP Awards took place this weekend and my did the stars turn out. Maybe we can attribute the sudden death of our beloved Whitney Houston for the convening of Hollywoods finest or the need to support the NAACP, whose mission is to ensure political, economic and social equality.
Whatever the case may be the stars were surely shining on the red carpet. So let's get to the rundown of who showed up and showed out at the annual awards ceremony!
Tracee Ellis Ross per usual, made me swoon in her black teacup dress. Anika Noni Rose stepped out in a Toujouri blue beaded bodice gown, it's pretty but I rather something different as the train is more dragging on the red carpet then trailing elegantly behind.Tarji P Henson looked radiant in her Randi Rahm silver beaded gown.Sanna Lathan gave us vibrancy wearing a bright orange Escada "Ganga" gown.
The detailing on Megan Good's one strap was gorgeous, although I do wish she would have went with a more sophisticated hairstyle to match the look, as this one seems to be a favorite option for any day of the week. Keke Palmer worked her Naven dress in all the right ways. Tatyan Ali skipped the subdue and went for skin wearing Lloyd Klein,Rene Caovilla shoes, Neil Lane jewelry and a Swarovski clutch.
Paula Patton continued the beaded theme in floor length Monique Lhuillier gown with Wilfredo Rosado jewelary and young actress Zendaya Coleman gave us innocent elegance!
So what do you think of the red carpet who was your favorite look of the night
